Why am I taking the class and what do I expect to get out of it?

I am taking the class for my AICE credit and so that I can broaden my horizons with media. I don't really watch shows or movies almost ever. I've only ever talked to my friends, watched very little shows or movies, and play video games. I expect to be shown media I am not aware of or study media and view it from a perspective I hadn't before. This won't be hard as I don't have much experience with most media anyways.
